Only after the last tree has been cut down;
Only after the last fish has been caught;
Only after the last river has been poisoned;
Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.

Glucosamine and Chondroitin Products - Cure For Knees Pain

By Dan Low

.....For months I suffered knee pains, canceled many countless trips because of the pain.....

I saw your blog about "Hanging Up Your Boots" and I would like to share the same agony of pains until I found a cure for it. I wanted to recommend Glucosamine and Chondroitin products which have helped me in curing my knee. I am sharing this because I hope outdoor enthusiasts could benefit from my experience.

Several years ago I don't hike, don't jog, don't run at all ... I only do simple gym workout and some normal sports.

Then I started photography and I got hooked after going to Nepal. I started training for a year for my Nepal trip and I screwed up my right knee several months before the trip.

Now, when I look back and thought about it, I knew where I did wrong. I went down hill too fast when my muscles weren't well developed, trained or strong enough to handle such tedious workout. I suffered severe knee pain every time I went down hill. I was forced to go downhill in a slow pace with a walking stick. For months I suffered knee pains, canceled many countless trips because of the pain.

So I decided to rest for 3 months and I started hiking again slowly just 1 month before the Nepal trip. It seemed ok until when I was in Nepal, after the 4th day of my hike, my knee began to be inflamed. I couldn't bent my knee and it was so terribly painful. I pushed on for 2 more days before I gave up and continue my last 3 days on a horse. I cannot even walk properly liao.

Imagine when I bent my knee, it would sound like "cracking".

When I got back from Nepal, a pharmacist friend told me of this Schiff MoveFree 1500mg Glucosamine product which had cured his parents joint problems and his own problems too. But this product is only available in the US. So I asked a friend to get me a bottle from US. I followed the dosage of 2 pills a day for 2 weeks and 1 pill for several months until I finish the bottle. Amazingly I felt better. I tried hiking again at Tukun, then 84 and then PG Hill. Then I added more and more hikes, bit by bit to build up the muscle groups again. Eventually, until today, I do not have anymore knee pain, not even down hill from Low's peak to KK Park. Not even Trusmadi to starting point. Not even Yong Yap or the Bintang 12 hours hike with 16-18KG, etc ,etc, etc. No more knee pain, and I can go down fast if I want. But I have learned a bitter lesson, so I avoid fast descending.

I still keep my 3rd bottle of MoveFree with me until today. It is my 3rd bottle now. Whenever I wanted to go for a big hike, I will take 1 pill daily for 2 to 3 days before, during and 2 to3 days after the hike.

I have recommended it to all my hiking friends. And almost everyone I know uses MoveFree now.

So why not give it a try.

Each bottle costs about USD28 for 120pills. If you have friends in US, and have the Costco card, they can get it even cheaper, it is worth the money.

Check this website:

Haha, it seemed like I'm promoting a product. Doing a direct sales huh? Well, I'm not. I have no relationship with Costco or Schiff MoveFree or anything to do with the commercial identities. I am just trying to help.
